Inviting Friends to Sessions

Once you’ve built your friend list, inviting people to a live session is fast and easy. No need to text PINs or share links manually — just pick your friends and send.

How to Invite

1. Launch a session and wait for the lobby to open.
2. Click “Invite Friends”.
3. Select the friends you want to invite from your list.
4. Click Send Invitations.

Each selected friend receives an email with a direct link to join your session. The link takes them straight into the game — no PIN entry needed.

Limits and Timing

• You can invite up to 20 friends at once per batch.
• Invitations can only be sent while the session is in the lobby phase (before the game starts).

If you hit a limit or timing issue, here’s what you might see:

“Cannot invite more than 20 friends at once” — You’ve selected too many friends in one batch. Send your invitations in groups of 20 or fewer.

“Session not in lobby - cannot invite” — The game has already started. Invitations can only be sent while players are still gathering in the lobby.

What Friends Receive

Your friends get an email with:

• Your name (the host)
• The session name
• A direct join link that drops them right into the lobby

Because they join through the invitation link, their identity is automatically linked to their friend profile. This means their scores and stats are tracked on your Leaderboards.

Alternative: Joining by PIN

Friends can always join the traditional way using the session PIN if they prefer. They’ll see the PIN on the sharing screen just like any other player. However, joining by PIN won’t automatically link their identity to their friend profile.
