Your First Trivia
TriviaNow gives you two ways to create a trivia: let AI do the heavy lifting, or build it yourself from scratch. Both are quick and straightforward.
[!TIP] We recommend starting with AI generation for your first trivia. It’s the fastest way to see how everything works, and you can always customize the result afterward.
Option A: Create with AI
AI generation creates a complete, ready-to-play trivia in seconds — questions, answer options, and even royalty-free images for each question.
- From the Dashboard, click “Create with AI”.
- Enter a topic for your trivia (e.g., “World Geography”, ”90s Movies”, “Space Exploration”).
- Choose the number of questions — anywhere from 5 to 15.
- Select a difficulty level:
- Easy
- Medium
- Hard
- Very Hard
- Pick the language for your trivia.
- Click Generate and let the AI work its magic.
In a few seconds, you’ll have a complete trivia with questions, answers, and images — all ready to play.
[!NOTE] AI generation uses credits from your account. Check your plan details to see how many credits you have available.
Option B: Build Manually
Prefer to write your own questions? Manual creation gives you full control over every detail.
- From the Dashboard, click “Build Manually”.
- Fill in the basics:
- Title — Give your trivia a name.
- Category — Pick a category that fits (e.g., Science, History, Pop Culture).
- Description — Add a short description so players know what to expect.
- Start adding questions one by one. TriviaNow supports five question types:
- Single Choice — One correct answer from multiple options.
- Multiple Choice — More than one correct answer from multiple options.
- True/False — A simple true or false question.
- Text Answer — Players type their answer as free text.
- Nearest Number — Players guess a number, and the closest answer wins.
Mix and match question types to keep things interesting!
