Teams let you organize players into groups for collaborative competition. Whether you’re hosting a corporate event, running a classroom activity, or throwing the ultimate party game night, teams turn your trivia session into a full-on group showdown.

Why Use Teams?

• Group collaboration — Players work together under a shared team banner, cheering each other on and strategizing as a group.
• Corporate events — Perfect for team-building exercises where departments or project groups compete head-to-head.
• Classroom activities — Split students into study groups and make learning feel like a game.
• Party games — Friends vs. friends, table vs. table — teams make every round more exciting.

How It Works

1. Create your teams ahead of time from the Dashboard. Give each one a name, color, and avatar initials.
2. Assign teams to a session when you launch it.
3. Players pick their team when they join the lobby.
4. Team leaderboards track cumulative scores throughout the game.
5. The Team Podium celebrates the top teams at the end!

[!TIP] Teams are reusable! Create them once and assign them to as many sessions as you want. No need to set them up every time.
