Sharing Your Game

Your session is live in the lobby — now it is time to get players in. TriviaNow makes it easy with multiple ways to share your game.

The 6-Digit PIN

Every session gets a unique 6-digit PIN. This is the fastest way for players to join:

1. Share the PIN with your players (read it out loud, text it, post it in a chat — whatever works).
2. Players go to play.trivianow.net .
3. They enter the 6-digit PIN.
4. They pick a display name — no sign-up required!
5. They land in the lobby and wait for you to start the game.

That is all it takes. No accounts, no downloads, no friction.

QR Code

Along with the PIN, you also get a QR code that links directly to your session. Players just scan it with their phone camera and they are in.

[!TIP] Hosting a big group? Project the QR code on a TV or projector screen so everyone can scan it at once. It is way faster than reading out a PIN to a room full of people.

Invite Friends Directly

If you have added friends on TriviaNow, you can invite them directly from the lobby using the Friends feature. This sends email invitations with a direct link to your session.

Good to Know

• Each PIN is unique to its session. Once the session ends, the PIN expires.
• No sign-up needed for players. Anyone with the PIN or QR code can join — they just need a display name.
• The QR code and PIN both work at the same time. Use whichever is most convenient for your group.

[!TIP] For remote games, drop the PIN in your group chat or video call. For in-person events, put the QR code up on the big screen. Mix and match however you like.
