Creating Teams

Setting up teams is quick and easy. Once created, you can reuse them across as many sessions as you like.

How to Create a Team

  1. Navigate to Dashboard > Teams.
  2. Click “Create Team”.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Team Name — Give your team a fun, memorable name.
    • Avatar Initials — Up to 2 characters that represent the team (e.g., “RK” for Rocket Kings).
    • Color — Pick a color from the palette. This becomes the team’s badge color shown during gameplay.
  4. Click Save and you’re done!

[!TIP] Pick bold, distinct colors for each team so players can easily tell them apart on the leaderboard and during gameplay.

Managing Your Teams

  • Edit anytime — You can update a team’s name, initials, and color whenever you want. Changes apply to future sessions.
  • Archive teams — If you no longer need a team, archive it to keep your list tidy. Archived teams can be unarchived later if you need them again.
  • Reuse across sessions — Teams are not tied to a single session. Create your favorites once and assign them wherever you need.

[!NOTE] A team belongs to your account — you can only manage teams that you created. Each team has a unique color badge that appears next to player names during gameplay.

Team Ideas

Need some inspiration? Here are a few fun team name ideas:

  • Corporate events — Name teams after departments, office locations, or inside jokes.
  • Classroom — Use group numbers, mascot names, or subject themes.
  • Parties — Go wild with creative names like “The Brain Trust” or “Quiz Wizards.”
